Toying with a couple ideas

So I currently have 2 r9 290's and an i5 3570k @ 4.6. Do I need to go to the i7 because at the moment as far as gaming goes I don't notice any real issues I'm hitting 60fps at 1440p although I'm sure if I ran benchmarks I'd see the bottleneck. If I don't need the upgrade then I will probably grab a new psu and case and tidy it all up a bit.

What cooler, PSU, and case do you currently have?

I ended up ordering a carbide 540 and some fans. The psu will get upgraded in due time. It's an 850watt xfx. It's done fine so far but apparently they aren't the best for reliability and I'd quite like a modular one. As far as CPU goes I'll wait for a major change in CPUs unless I'm really feeling the struggle. My current cooler is a Zalman cnps9900.

I have an XFX PSU as well and there's not any reliability issues I'm aware of. Mine is the semi modular version but going from non modular to modular will be a nice upgrade

Well the 540 will let me hide the psu away which should help with cooling issues and hide the mess of wires.

a good case important, good cable management, good and enough fans to take out the heat, sometimes just that's the problem.

Yeah I've got bitfenix spectre pros and a fan controller coming with the case to help sort it all out

XFX PSUs are made by Seasonic so they should be pretty good.
