Hello, can someone please help me with this damn adapter. I was looking to buy a better one only to find the one I choose was the one I already had!! I bought it 3 years ago and never realised that I should be getting much better speeds then I am currently getting. (Currently using an old netgear D6400 that is getting upgraded)

TP-Link Archer TX50E AX3000 and on a 5GHz network I can only get it to connect on 802.11a. My speed test is around 10-14. On my laptop next to it I am getting around 34mb.

I have tried reinstalling, updating drivers. I have had it out (to check the version for driver updates).

I have also tried changing the settings though nothing seems to work.

802.11 a/b/g Wireless mode set to dual band a/b/g
802.11n/ac/ax wireless mode set to 802.11ac
Channel width are all auto

If I switch to 2.4GHz is goes to 802.11g.

Any suggestions please?
Thanks.
