Hey all

I have the TP-Link AV 500 Gigabit PowerLine HomePlug Adapter Kit (TL-PA511KIT) Got from OCUKL work great! Router downstairs PC upstairs! and never have Drop outs!

However.... If I switch my PC off at night, In the morning I have to unplug my Powerline and back in for it to pick up my network connection...

Anyidea...

I've even updated the firmware!
Still same issue everytime! If i restart my pc my connection stays..

ME! If you google about the power saving config utility from TP-LINK, you will see that there is a tool to turn this off which should solve your problem.

With the Gigabit powerline plugs from not just TP-LINK (I had the same issue with Devolo plugs), on some network cards they wouldn't wake up from a low power state mode. So it's a bit of lottery as to what ethernet card you were using.

If you turn off the power save mode for your plug that's connected to your PC, it'll stay on all the time but it'll be ready for you to use when you turn your PC back on.

HTH.
