Hi there all I have a puzzle that i hope someone can help with . I set up a TP-Link DR900 Modem/router on my B.T Infinity 2 which was straight forward and easy , i set it up using my laptop via an ethernet lead and i use it on wifi normally , i did a speed test and i got 64meg and 19 meg .Upstairs i have my p.c unit which is connected via an ethernet cable and powerlines T.P -Link , but when i do a speedtest i only get 30meg and 15meg .I installed the HH5 again and i get 61meg and 19meg on my p.c . why would i get these different speeds ? Any ideas ?

So with a direct wired connection the speed is about the same, but over Powerline the DR900 is much slower?
My first guess would be that DR900 could be causing interference that's reducing the available Powerline bandwidth. This could be direct to the mains via its power brick or via Ethernet.
What happens if you plug the DR900 into the mains while you're using the HH5?
What happens if you connect the DR900 to the network while you're using the HH5 (you'd need to disable its DHCP server first)?
Is the Powerline adapter plugged in close to the router's power adapter? Can they be moved further apart?
The permanent fix is to run a cable if you can.
