TP Link router login in safety feature?

Hi.

I remember reading on the net a while ago that TP Link routers feature a login safety feature that doesn't allow you to login in after a period of time. You have to do something to enable login and for the life of me I cannot find that web page any more.

Can anyone help?

That would seem to be a totally pointless feature on the LAN side. Are you sure your memory isn't playing tricks?

What happens when you try to connect to the router's IP using a wired connection?

No I'm sure it's not my memory. I definitely read it in one of the dark corners of the web tucked away in a forum somewhere and I tried it an it worked .

No at the moment I don't have a ethernet cable. I intend to pick one up soon.
