TP-Link TL-PA7017 speed issues

[Erm yeah that’s hard to pick one]

Got a pair of TP-Link TL-PA7017 and have some speed issues. Have tested the cables no faults. Done any updates nothing.

Tried in the same socket side by side and get reduced speed.

Tests are Ethernet directly, socket side by side then socket in upstairs bedroom.

I’m lost for ideas.

These always have overhead, you won't be getting close to 1gig out of them. From my experience it depends on so many things thatyoucan't do anything about like your wiring.

Ensure you're not using any extension cables, ensure they're synced ok and I think thats all you can really do.

I’ve never had them this bad. This is a new set and as you see can’t be much more direct. Same wall socket, so same busbar.
