TP-link VR900 V1 & V2 - Differences other than visual?

I'm looking to pick up a TP-Link VR900 to replace what is now my 4th BT Smart Hub.

Looking around I can pick the White TP-Link VR900 up for £99, however the black V2 is around £130.

I don't mind having either the White or Black but was wondering is the v2 better in any way and worth the extra £30?

I sent them a tweet and they responded with

Not really that helpful but I didn't expect them to advise anything other that the V2

Great, well I won't even be using the USB ports so if that's potentially the only difference I may just pick up the V1.

I've dropped TP-Link support an email as well to see if they can further expand on the changes. Different chipset etc.

Will see what they comeback with and hopefully make a purchase over the weekend.
