I've been getting huge problems with my WiFi adapter in Windows 8.1.
I'm getting Event ID 129, 153, 53 and 51 errors on my hard drive and the drive disconnects completely and I'm getting BSOD. I notice my hard drive gets stuck on 100% usage for ages.
I noticed however that when I don't have the adapter plugged in, I don't have any problems at all.
So is anyone else having issues with WiFi adapters and Windows 8.1? How did you solve the problem? I've tried different drivers, using compatibility mode etc.
I'd buy a new adapter but I'll just end up with problems again with Windows 10.
