Vive and rift are doomed any way... Unless they release new hmds

Pimax

I have a pimax here on my desk where it's been sat for about 9 months (we really should tidy up more often). We didn't think it was quite there yet earlier this year when we tried it, hence we haven't listed it. The headset we had caused quite a few headaches, the flicker was very pronounced. Hopefully they can resolve it though!

The new versions of Pimax are getting good reviews on YouTube though according to their crowd funding page. With Oculus and the money behind them they could have talked to the TPCast people and got their tech incorporated into sales versions or sold them with the Rift. Its not happened though. Tells you something. No matter how you justify it the price is expensive. Just get the Bungy Cord version for £20! Wireless - no. Cheaper - yes.

For people without £300 spare i agree. For people with the spare spondoolas then why not?

There will definitely be some people who want a proper solution and not a workaround. We have pre-sold nearly 60 of the TPCast for VIVE now which shows there is a market for these products.

60's not a lot in the grand scheme of things. Good for you. Not for VR.

where is this that u speak of ??

There was a thread about it in the VR forum. I can't say where you can buy it from as it might be seen as naughty but do a search it was not hard to find on the net.
