Hi,

I have a TP LINK TL-WA701ND Access Point connected to a VM Super Hub via a Netgear 5 port 10/100 switch. I can access the SuperHub settings page via my browser but cannot get the Access Points settings page on the default IP of 192.168.1.254.

I have tried setting static IP's for the PC's, direct connection to my PC's Ethernet port, different web browsers, hard resets of the AP etc but cannot get the settings page to display. As I don't fancy having an insecure network this is an issue.

Additional info, I have two PC's one with Windows 7 x64 directly into the SuperHub and one running Windows 8 RP x64 via the switch. Tried with both, no joy.

Am I being dense and missing something obvious? Any suggestions?

Thanks

It's probably because the AP's IP address is 192.168.1.254 and therefore is in a different network segment to your VM super hub, which might be 192.168.0.1 or something.

Not sure how you can resolve it beyond changing the IP of the super hub to 192.168.1.1 and then setting the AP to 192.168.0.254 instead. That's how I managed it but there's probably a really clever way to do it differently.
