Hi,

Does anyone know if todays desktop motherboards have TPM chips? Specifically im interested in if the Abit IP35 Pro has one, and also if generally they are common place today? I cant seem to find specific information other than that manafactures were starting to include them as standard in 2006?

Thanks,
Jack

NOt very common I don't think, Q series chipset boards should have them as standard. I know a lot of boards have BIOS support for TPM with pins on the board to add a TPM module.

I'm pretty sure the Abit IP35 Pro does not have a TPM chip.

Buff should know for sure, but I've never seen it mentioned.

thanks guys, I wanted to know if i could include support for them in my uni project, but it doesnt seem feasible if they arnt really common yet :(
