tracert: Hop to Bebox is high

Hi Guys,

I have a weird thing when I do a tracert to say google or bbc.co.uk or anywhere really. the first hop to my router (bebox) takes 75 to 99ms and sometimes times out. Other hops are low and webpages seem to load fast. It is a wired connection and last time I checked a few months ago, The hop to the Bebox was low. Any ideas?
