Tracing an annoying rattle

I started hearing a rattle sound from the direction of my PC. I have invested heavily in quietening my PC so investigated.

I looked at the PC and listened intently. Nothing. Then it dawned on me that what I was hearing was the dishwasher in the kitchen at the other end of the flat! D'oh! It was audible because I had left the doors open.

Learn from my mistake.

I don't have that problem with rattles. My rig sounds like Concorde at take off power.
