Hi... I'm sixteen, and obviously for that reason I haven't got a license of any kind. I can "drive" a car, to clarify that I mean I've driven my dads thirteen year old Skoda 1.3 (What a car I have to admit!) on private roads, so the actual driving of the car to 40mph ish isn't too much of a problem for me...

What I wanted to know is if there are any kind of track experience days I could book myself over the summer holidays? I looked at Castle Coombe Circuit, I think not only is there Zetec day affordable, it wouldn't overpower me!

The question is would this place, or any others for that matter take me without a license?

Please, enlighten me! :)

I really really would not advise a track day if you do not have a licence.

Also, I am 99% sure you are never allowed on Combe without one.

I was always under the impression that people only do track days with powerful cars....do people actually do them with cars such as skodas, mondeos and other less powerful cars.

Go Karting mate that's the way.
You will have freedom on a kart track and the power to weight ratio is excellent and a right buzz.

You are liking a Mondeo to a low-powered Skoda. Shame on you.
