Not played the new one yet, but enjoyed sunrise a lot.

I notice its only 11.99 at a well known jersey based retailer so am sorely tempted but am already overloaded with a backlog of games to get thru :mad:
 
TMU is good, very addictive. I'm not really playing it atm becasue I just came back from Greece and DiRT is out, but I often play on the [WSAD]Short Tracks server. Seen a few other people from OcUK there too
 
Yeah I been playing it for a couple of months.....took a bit to get used to compared to Nations (menu wise and good servers) but I haven't looked back. I only play Stadium on it....I don't like the rest of the races :)
 
I bought it off Steam last weekend too. I used to play TMN an awful lot and United seems to make everything a bit prettier. I've only really played the Stadium part of the game so far on the BCS server.

I have to say it's probably the most demanding game for my system that I have.
 
I love it - keep coming back to it. It's ideal as a ten-minute time filler, tho I can often be on there for a couple of hours. System wise, it ran without complaint on my old radeon 6800pro at widescreen resolutions. Tis very scalable and manages to keep its looks.

I will definitely pick it up eventually , might have to book a week off first as the previous games were highly addictive.
 
can u create a server of your own and password it, let OCuk players on, would be a right laugh :). I think you can have voice chat as well im not sure though.

The thing is, is that the game is hugely scalable but if you really want to run the max settings with 16x AF, AA, a large number of cars on screen and all the post processing effects, then it takes a beast of a PC. It looks gorgeous though.

Yup, a fairly small server doesn't require much of a net connection (you'd lose some of the lap times as you got more players) so it would be entirely possible. I've never come across voip in the game...not sure it supports it, tho if it does I probably won't be enabling it :)
 
hi guys i run a dedicated aseco stunt server in united that is a blast you are all most welcome to pop in anytime and chill am in the process of coding some other plugins for the server at the moment the only good one i have is a betting plugin that gives you 100credits when joining to bet with.

It's quite fun looking at Mania Zones to see where you are in the UK ranking. I seem to be in the 200's in the UK but am on the first page in London. It's just a shame that ranking is broadly dependent on the number of races you have done instead of being based on the ranking of people you beat and vice versa.
 
On another note, has someone created an OcUK group? I just tried to create one but it told me the name was already in use.
