Track Racing hobbie

Hi guys,

I've been thinking about getting a cheap car primarily for track use. I was curious if anyone does this as a hobbie? I've been thinking of a Clio 16v but the only problem I can see is just cost (in terms of insurance, especially as I've only got 1 NCB + crappy post code). Also, how much on average is a day on the tracks?

Well, I drive a Punto JTD which is good for what it is. But I fancy something with a bit of power for the weekends. The only problem is insurance. I'd really like a Fiat Coupe 20VT.
