Hi Guys...
I have a quick recommendation to ask you!
My trusty old (almost 12 years old) Microsoft Trackball Explorer
Is finally giving up on me!
the Scroll goes nuts and sometimes the middle button (again the scroll wheel) doesn't respond!
I use it with AutoCAD and Inventor and I find it easier too use than a Mouse at times! (plus it stops anyone else using my workstation as it scares them!
)
Anyhew... I'm now in need of a replacement, and I want summut that has similar functionality: Finger control of the ball not Thumb, 4 programmable buttons plus ScrollWheel (5th Button) fits nice and comfotably in/under my hand!.
I've looked on ebay and the like, and yes you can buy referbed Explorers, but they are upward of $200...
Which comes to my main sticking point!... I don't want to spend a fortune! I'm looking at £80/100 MAX! (I've prices a Mouse/Space Mouse Combo and that comes to about £120 which is prohibitive!
)
Thanks in Advance!
