I was looking at Drury lane, site says £50, dont mind paying it if they know what they're doing

Not sure about HiQ which one did you go to? They look like Kwik Fit, National Tyres type place which is fine if there is a good one where they know how to use the equipment but I've found in the past they make things worse rather than better

Drury line did my e92, needed quite a bit of adjustment and came to about £120 all told. Also it took a fair amount of time due to ceased bolts at the rear. Car drove unbelievably better after, the guy who runs it knows his stuff, runs a few race cars in proper competitions etc.

What a con, to say that the worst case scenario at WIM was £85. And thats a worst case.

No wonder they were booted off.

BMW Wakefield charge £99 including all adjustments regardless of seized or not and inc vat.

BMW Sheffield charge £120 all in as above, won't come down to £99.

I'm back and I wouldnt recomend in all honesty mainly due to the price, the guy made the ajustments front and rear gave me a print out which makes no sense to me what so ever and then charged me two hours labour, I found the guy I dealt with to be a bit cold to put it politely which doesnt bother me in the slightest but when compared to the way the Seat dealer treats us with the girlfriends car and other garages I've used in the past I just find it odd if they want you to come back in the future

Another expensive lesson learned, sounds like I could have had exactly the same thing done elsewhere for less, ah well at least its sorted now

Well I did say how much it would cost...and chances are the rear have never been adjusted in their life and were seized. As most places on do front adjustments anyway!

When you say the print outs make no sense how do you mean? It should clearly show you how far out you were before and what the car is now set to. Obviously steer ahead and thrust angle should be about zero. You can check manufacturer specs to see how your caster and camber should be from tjr factory.

Scan your sheet and post it up.

You did so it wasnt a major shock but I just feel uncomfortable with an additional £50 almost for the rear adjusment however if its sorted the original problem then its fine which I wont really know until I drive it properly tomorrow, the journey home is 99% motorway and the issue only occurs on normal roads

I just dont understand what everything means, I have a vague idea, the caster still shows in red is that right or should it now be green?

Steer ahead is now 0 down from 0.11
Thrust angle is 0.01 down from 0.03

I wont be able to scan it until tomorrow unfortunately

Take a pic with your phone and upload to images hack.

This was my before and after
