OK so like most people (?) I have several apps and devices tracking and monitoring the fitness activities I regularly take part in. I am reasonably happy with my current set up, but thought I would share what I do and invite others to share, so I might learn a thing or two and potentially help one or two people at the same time.

Firstly my target has been to not need to hook any devices up to a PC to syncronise/upload etc. So that means either wireless uploads to a network or bluetooth to phone. I regularly run, cycle and hike.

Devices.

Tom Tom Cardio Multsport (running) - linked to Strava. Sync via phone. Strava is linked into MyFitnessPal.

Misfit Flash (general activity/hiking/walking) - linked to MyFitnessPal. Sync via phone.

Mio Cyclo 505 (cycling) - linked to strava. Sync via router. Again, through strava this is linked to MyFitnessPal.

Withings scale WS30 - sync via router, linked to MyFitnessPal.

Routine

MyFitnessPal (MFP) is at the heart of my set up. Depending on whether I am looking to lose, maintain or (does this ever happen:) ) gain weight I set the target in the app. My daily calorie allowance is then automatically corrected when I run or cycle via Strava. It is further corrected based on the amount of general activity/walking sync'd from the Misfit monitor.

I weigh myself every five days at the same time of day and the scales sync the data to MFP showing clearly how I am managing my weight.

I am conscious this is but one of many ways of doing this and indeed many folks (including the missus....) will think what is the point of it all. But for like minded individuals, whats your routine?

Cheers

I use Strava (very recently) for tracking road cycling.

MFP for my nutrition.

Excel for interpreting my weight & nutritional data/trends.

I weight myself daily, AM, naked as the day I was born, at give or take the same time. I then take a 7 day moving average as this eliminates and highs or lows due to food choices throughout the week. So many variables come in to play that misinterpreting your weight movement and making unnecessary adjustments/changes is easy to do. (For example if you eat late and a larger than usual meal the night before you weigh in)

Strava
MyFitnessPal

All connected to Apple's HealthKit thing which keeps everything in sync (I use it for other things like tracking inhaler use for my asthma too).

I'm about to buy a power meter for my bike to accurately baseline my current power to weight (watts per KG) by completing an FTP test. I'll use to this data to monitor and improve my power (fitness) throughout the year.

I use a Garmin Edge 500 and Strava to log my riding activities.
Basic digital scales to monitor weight.

Measuring cycling fitness through speed, average speed and/or heart rate just doesn't work.
