TrackIR Question

Does anyone have any experience with this? I was thinking about getting one for use with flight sims but don't know if it can be used with a projector or if it's just suited to monitors. Anyone find it usefull or is it just an expansive gimmick?

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that would be the answer as it looks like it could save a lot of hassle. I'll just hope that DCS Black Shark isn't too far away now.

Yeah...fingers crossed that they don't go with Starforce. It could be really good if they get it right and I'm just hoping they don't let it down by going with something like Starforce. From what I've seen of it so far in videos it does look like it would be pretty unforgiving without TrackIR.
