i would like to see a trailer lol :p i just checked those screenshot expecting game screenshots and someone has taken screenshots from that stupid trailer :confused: :p

There are screenshots other than from the teaser if you look at the puzzle screens we got when logging into tmu
 
I'm cautiously interested in this. Trackmania 1 was very good in single player, but as the focus was on multiplayer and I constantly got onto servers where the statistics showed others players best race times to be somewhere about 1.8 seconds, it was completely ruined. Gave up after a while.
So with Trackmania 2, I hope they get this sort of thing sorted out.
 
TM is great, played it a lot over the years and can't wait for TM2.

Never found that problem myself? There are a few tracks with cuts but you just need to find them or follow someone who knows it.
 
I am not that convinced about this, in TM 1 stadium is the only decent platform since there is so much user content. I don't know what it is I just don't like the other modes.

Ever since this freezone thing killed the playbase and a lot of good servers I am just a bit sceptical of this. I mainly play mini-rpg though, not such a fan of racing maybe that's why :D

we think that it wil be released june or july but are still waiting for a definate

And to the guys that think stadium is the only worthwhile area try learning the other areas driving style trackmania as a whole package is trully superb and online there are many great servers and some of the most skilled drivers you could ever race against. And even if online was not your thing there is the exchange where there are thousands of tracks to download play and upload times.

As a long time trackmaniac have played from the very begining i have to say that when nations came along so did the idiot element for many years we had a great community friendly helpfull and very respectfull of other players but within months of nations apearing all that changed. now i have met and raced with some great nations guys but also raced with some utter idiots and i never felt that with origional or sunrise. I still stick to my guns and say that trackmania 2 will be superb Nadeo have shown that the listen and care about the comunity and by using the comunity in the alpha stages of testing this can only be a good thing for the game.
 
^ The island one with the rear wheel drive car was good fun and took some skill to get a quick time :)
 
I love Trackmania and Can't wait for TM2, Like others I prefer Stadium and never really got along with the other areas but you just can't beat a quick blast of TM on my favourite server FBI LOL Mania
 
Coast was always my favourite (the one that's like a 60's-style Monaco Grand Prix) - there might not be as much content for the non-stadium modes, but that's only because there's so much content for Stadium that you'd never get to play it all anyway. Definitely looking forward to this, just hope this old workhorse is up to running it.
 
I just picked up Trackmania united forever star edition for a fiver off steam, have played the free edition, but this looks like a ridiculous value game for that sort of money.

Fantastic for £5. Mere seconds from clicking the icon to racing, perfect for a spare five minute blast or an evening-long session, runs perfectly on ancient machines. Just hope the second lives up to the first.
 
chid76 love some tracks like this :p just have to use the force :D

there was one map called dgs shotgun :) one of my mates mates years ago.

will get number 2 when out :cool:
 
The first one was a lot fun.. Great pick up and play game.

Go on for 10 minutes, end up staying on a server for 5 hours!

Wonder if we'll get more information at E3??
