hello all :) gunna be careful here so i don't break any of the rules, but if i do I'm sorry ;)

right well I've been looking at these new DSi's and must say my NDS is looking pretty boring compaired to it now xP i still have the origional box for my NDS and I've heard that there are quite a places that do trade ins on them for a good price.

Just wondering how much you think i would get off the price for trading in my NDS black? i also have the final fantasy 4 game (i think)...

also im pretty sure that purple place **** would take other games to trade in off the price too, as i have a ps2 (big version not slim) with about 4/5 games on it... i never use my ps2 any more so thinking i could try and get the DSi for as cheap as possible :)


what do you all think and any ideas on the prices of those things...
 
ive seen people offering 85 quid if you trade in a nds and buy a dsi. thats the top end you will get. considering a dsi will set you back 150 is it really worth it?

is the dsi that much better? it has a camera and erm?
 
they will give me 85 for the DSL? or i still have 85 to pay for the DSi? and i just want to fiddle about with the new features. so if i can trade in my ps2 also and shizz and get the dsi for much less i may as well.... worst comes to worst ill just sell it xP

they will give you 85 quid off a dsi if you trade in a nds. that means you have to pay 65 quid to get a dsi.

i dont even know if the offer will be that good any more.
 
If you honestly have no use for the PS2, then do it, but I'm really not convinced that the cameras and SD slot are worth it.
 
Sold my DSL on fleabay for £110. Got it for £70 in the States, spent £5 on an replica charger and bought Zelda. Grand total £95. After fees I'd made like £5 on the deal. Zelda was the only game I wanted for DS. Winner all round!

I brought at DSi last week for £127 on sale:confused:at my local supermarket as I didnt really want spend the full £150 on one. I already own the original DS and DSL.
To be honest, I think its worth the money. Forget the camera as I havent even bothed to using it. The fact it has WPA support, game carts are hot swapable and it has soft reset makes it abit easlier to use, instead having to switch off the system everytime you make a change in the settings.
All they need to do now is expand on the DSi shopping channel or at least let us download Virtual Console games to it.
You also get 1000 free Nintendo points to spend on the shopping channel when you first register.

yea thats what i was asking :p whether i would still have 85 pound to pay or 85 knocked off.

hummm 65£ minus a ps2 and a few games..... might be able to get it for about 30?
 
It's an absolute waste of time to trade a DSL in for a DSi.

You get what... a crap camera and a memory card slot, yet you lose your backwards compatibility and Guitar Hero.

No, thanks. IMO the DSLs are worth more than the DSi.

You will be very lucky if anywhere still accepts the big PS2's for trade in and your looking at 20p-£5 for each PS2 game you trade!
 
I just traded in my DSL for a DSI 2days ago and I got 50 notes trade in at that place that sounds like playstation and a free case, and was offered 40 notes trade in at the purple place and no free case
