trade in ? mistake

hi

i had 3 xbox360 games i wanted to trade in so i could get uncharted on ps3, so i went to my nearest trainstation , i was amazed to find that i got £26 each for them:eek: thats £78 i got :)

so i ended up getting uncharted which was expensive in there for free and £33 credit reciept.

did they make a mistake £26 seems a lot but i dont mind:D

the games were -

tiger woods pga 08
the orange box
ace combat 6

they were all in excellent condition and are good games though

im happy with that cause last time i traded in i think i got about £6 each for some 360 games perhaps it was because they were older like fifa07 ....


by the way have those credit reciepts got a expiry date?

Those are all pretty new games, you'll get practically nothing for older sports games like Fifa 07 (especially as there have been 2 fifas since then) because so many people trade in the older title for the newer one.

The credit notes don't expire. Also £26 sounds right. I took in Ace Combat today for that price. Since just after xmas all our trade in prices have gone up.
 
when at work (trainstation) i sometimes get a bit amazed at some of the prices on the trades and recheck the till to see if i made a boo boo. But i guess you got to think that some of these games your shelling out £50 so it kinda makes sense. Games like the fifas ( old ones ) hardly make any trade and the wrestling ones. Basically anything that comes out every year
