Hi,

i dont really have the cash to go get killzone right now, but i decided to go down to a local shopto trade in need for speed undercover and little big planet both played at max like 5 times.

The cheeky bugger at the till offered me 6 pounds in cash each and then 12 each store credit, are trade in values really as low as this? I was planning on going elsewhere to try n get more but should i really be looking for a lot more?

TBH i was expecting around 15 minimum for each.

Yeh they have been out for a while now so the trade in price generally falls quite quickly. I would double check round town. Either that or sell the game online.

you will get a better deal i'd imagine at gamestation for instore credit, but still your probably best selling them on the bay or online via a forum

CEX will give you:

NFSU: £11 cash, £16 trade in
LBP: £9 cash, £13 trade in

They sell Killzone 2 for £40, so that'd leave you £11 to find if you traded in.

In Ireland, my local "well known high profile brand" videogame store offered me £18 trade in value for 5 360 games, all fairly new releases, mint condition etc.

I've not really traded in games before so I didn't know what quite to expect (they offered me 0.20p for Mass Effect, lol) but damn I was surprised at how little they were offering (and how much they were then gonna sell them on for), so i hung onto my games.

Better options are auction sites/MM i think.
