Trading In Games

Going in today to that well known game store. Can anyone give me an estimate on how much I am going to get back for the following games?

Call of Duty Modern Warfare - PS3
Metal Gear Solid 4 - PS3
Motorstorm - PS3
Grand Theft Auto 4 - PS3
Bioshock - X360
Army of Two - X360
About 10 random PSP games.

I notice they are still selling MGS4, COD MW and GTA4 for about £30 but the chances of me getting anywhere near that seem slim?
 
Probably about £50/60 the lot, depending what psp games you have. For example, Motorstorm will probably be a quid or two at the most, and MGS4 about £6 I would thought.

Thinking that, but is a hassle having to post things out when I am going to be instore anyway buying my bro Dragons Age.
Hoping I will have enough for that and Assassins Creed 2 for myself ;)
 
I'd expect about a fiver for each game listed I'd be surprised if you get any more than £30 in total.

I think it is shocking how they can charge people £20-25 for a preowned Modern Warfare for PS3 £29 for a non preowned copy and only give £5 for a trade in lol.

£5 a game would be nice though.
 
It is a real joke how much they give for trade ins, I traded in Fifa 09 a week before 10 was released and got £3. :/

But it is where they make there money from sadly. Christ last time I was in said retailer they had L4D pre-owned at £34.99 and brand new at £44.99. :eek:

My £5 per game was an average for ones that I imagine you will get less for, I would work on £30 credit for the lot, can't see it being much more or less than that.
 
A guy in work traded in a few games for MW2. He got about £25 for 5 or 6 games and they included

Call of Duty Modern Warfare - PS3
Metal Gear Solid 4 - PS3
Grand Theft Auto 4 - PS3
Street Fighter IV - PS3
Far Cry 2 - PS3

You'll do much better selling them on MM or some other forums!

If he only payed £26 for it at the supermarket & played it all the way through, I'd say 30 quid's a pretty good price! (although I doubt he'd have got £30) :)
 
The final price was £45! Means I got special edition Assassins Creed free. :)
I thought I had Metal Gear Solid 4 in the box, but its still in the PS3 lol

£45 incl. the PSP games? Ouch.

Not bad though if you got what you wanted.

So you still have MGS4, lol.

Yeah, I was really only bothered about getting one game for free lol

I had basically just grabbed all the boxes on my way out the door to work. Obviously MGS4 was still in the PS3 since I used it to test out my mum's new 42inch LED tv
 
CeX > Game. Equivalent or better rates and you can search online for trade in values.

Now quick - someone RTM this post so that the mods can delete it for cutting into OCUKs lucrative game trading revenue stream.
 
If you are talking about where i think you are what you need to do is go online to that other high street shop that shows trade in value and make sure you PRINT it all out or they will not match it and add +£1 per item it's their policy make sure the spotty kids give you the +£1 per item and say you will do it all individually if need be.

I still haven't got around to checking if I have all the stuff for the phone I was giving you you still need it?

We're allowed to discuss game sellers etc, as long as it's in context.
