Ok, sitting here today with both screens completely full, I was thinking maybe its time to go triple with my monitors or get 2 at the same resolution.

Currently I have a BENQ FP241W (24") and a Samsung 910N (19").

I was thinking maybe 2 24" inch monitors? If I do that would it be best to sell my BenQ so that they match in terms of screen colour tones etc?

Also how much do you reckon a 24" upgrade will cost if I sold the BenQ and 19"? Would I recover much for them on the bay or OCUK members market?

Any other solutions I'll be happy to hear them!

if you're really compromised with that sort of screen real estate, i'd look at perhaps 2x 27" or another 2x 24 for a total of 3 monitors - abviously you'll need the gpu hardware to drive them.

It's always best if they're one manufacturer - for no ther reason than the colour gamut and appearance will be the same across the board as it were.

As for recovering your costs - I'd be surprised as you can pick a 19 up for not a lot and even 24's are now under 200 quid if you shop around.

Your Benq is a good monitor, why not just get another one or two?
What's your primary use - I meato say, how do you manage to fill all your screens - work / play?

A real mix to be honest. Game a fair bit at high resolutions, then use both screens for working, then i might use both screens for lightroom processing.

Id say I use the PC for pretty much everything! And yeah my BenQ is quite a nice monitor :) still up there in the top even after a few years now! I could buy another 24", but unsure if one would fit. Or sell my 2 4890s and buy a 5870 with the view of eyefinity over time.

But then you need displayport monitors which cost a lot of money, especially if you want them all to match.

You could always just by an active display port converter that'll convert it to HDMI/DVI.

I've heard you can grab one for around £10.

You want 2 24" screens
You have 1 24" screen
2-1 = 1
My recommendation would be to buy one 24" screen and ditch the 19"er :)

Obviously you may be worried about the asthetics of two different looking screens, but surely they are going to look more alike than your current setup.
