Traffic Shaping with Mac how?

Ok guys i search the forums already there is nothing about this. The thing is my flatmate has a mac she uploads some big size videos and since I am a gamer it is unbearable to play any games online cause the ping goes nuts. So I am looking for a program that regulates the upload speed so it doesn't affect my ping.

Anyone out there who knows anything about this?

What you need is a router that has QoS on it, this lets you configure the priority of outgoing traffic so more critical data (i.e. gaming) is sent out first.
