Train WIFI

I'm sat on a train at the moment using their free wifi, but am a little confused as to why I can see no less than 20 networks on a scan. I'm not sure I quite understand why, one broadcast for each coach?

Probably multiple access points to provide the coverage. Did they all have the same SSID?

Nope, that's what puzzled me, there were about 5 that were called nxecwifi and the rest were BDN01233 or some other combination of numbers.
