I actually like trains, however only one like the maglev? and the high speed TGV's.

I have a fondness for engineering.

No, there houses are funded by OcUK and they have no choice over there location. Moving would mean leaving the job.

Maglev is scary, as it feels as though it's about to fall off the "track!"

I'm very interested in trains and have been most of my life. I only "Came Out" about 4 years ago when I had had a steady girlfriend and house for a few years.

The Mrs is very supportive, though since my friends have found out, I do get a bit of a ribbing.

One thing which never ceases to amaze me - people can get all excited about someone kicking a ball around and not get mocked for it, yet people who admire what are essentially engineering wonders get ridiculed.

It's ok, I mock people for getting excited about grown men running around a field with a ball. I also love engineering in general including trains, just not enough to want to stand on a platform ticking numbers in a book

The only trains that impress me are ones that are on time! Or that are smooth and quiet...

Shame none of this exists in the UK
