Anybody in here use Traktor on a mac? I'd like to see a screen shot of how much you get on the screen with a 13" screen and 15"

There's so many different ways you can have Traktor setup (2 decks, 4 decks, mixtures of decks tracks and inputs). 13" is cramped though.

I use Traktor 2 with a Essential setup on a 15" and using fullscreen everything fits nicely, will try and get a screenshot up later.

at the moment I use 2 decks and 2 sample decks, with that setup is it possible to still see the effects panel?

Depends what controller you are going to use, some have a built in sound card

Sorry, I should have elaborated on my earlier post. How do you get output from the MBP when you just have one headphone socket? I assume you need an output that you monitor the mix with and another that goes out to amplifier, so you's need an external sound card with multi outputs? Or have I got it wrong?

There are four ways of doing it, onboard soundcard + control everything on the laptop, multi channel soundcard and control everything on the laptop, soundcard + controller, and a controller with a built in soundcard.

The controller with built in soundcard will allow you to monitor each channel from the hardware itself like you would on a normal dj mixer.
