Hi

Has anyone on here got, or seen a Tranquil T7 PC? They look to be exactly what im looking for, but I would like some user reviews and they appear to be quite rare. For those who dont know, they are VIA or Atom based mini PCs with a passively cooled case/heatpipe setup, and can take 2.5" or 3.5" HDD(s). They look ideal for my mini silent home server project.

We have 2 T7 atom's at work running Vista Business. They are being used in a clean room environment where their lack of fans is a key requirement.

They are well built, totally silent and run Vista reasonably well (with 2GB RAM)

My only criticism of it would be the lack of DVI/HDMI digital output. It only has VGA. Also it has some antiquated (but useful for us) Serial and Parallel port connectors on the back and the USB ports are too close together (if you have a chunky wifi USB adaptor for example you can rule out the use of all 4 ports.

It gets hot to the touch, but thats because the whole case acts as a giant heatsink.
