Hi all,

I'm looking for an air cooler to get a 3750K up to 4.5Ghz and I'm torn between the Gelid Tranquillo and the CM Hyper 612s. What would you recommend?

Thanks for the quick reply(s) Stulid. It's a shame it's too big. Would you have any alternative suggestions or should I just get the Tranq.

612s fits in my thermaltake v3 which is quite small. Very good cooler although I have replaced fans with 2 x Scythe Kaze Jyuni 1900rpm in push/pull so it performs like a top end air cooler.

Interesting. According to the Thermaltake website that case is 7.5" wide and the 300R is 8.3" wide so it sounds like it should fit.

The width of the case is irrelevant, its the motherboard tray, the standoffs that may vary inside.

The corsair 400/500R I seen have a recessed motherboard tray within the case giving extra space to the side panel.
