Hi guys

Does anyone use a cheap/decent transcribing service that's got a student rate?

The only ones I can find are around £1 a minute and I'm looking for around half that. Does anyone use one that's good for students?

Cheers
Mark

Perfect example:

I still check in daily and still post, but the forum has gone downhill.

It used to be a friendly place where you got good debates, good advice etc, but now it seems to be the norm for some posters to immediately take the moral high ground in attempts to make themselves appear intellectually superior and scowl down on us inferior lifeforms - when all they do is come across as ass's.

The guy asked for some help and advice and the first and only 3 posts offer judgement and not one hint of assistance.

What do you need transcribed, eg. interview recording, general dictation, roundtables or lectures? How complex is the recording, and is the quality decent?

If it isn't too much, I'd be happy to do some for you during quiet spells in my own business. Send me an email via Trust if you like.

Have you thought about Dragon Dictate? It's about £70 at the moment, which would equate to about 2.5 hours at the rate you're looking at.

Take the moral high ground in attempts to make themselves appear intellectually superior then poo through their letterboxes.
