Transfer domain to hosting provider?

I registered a .com with namecheap a few days ago, and i'm now looking at getting hosting.

When i go to order the hosting, I have the option of either:

I want to transfer my domain to <hosting company>

OR

I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain.

What's the best option?
Is there any difference apart from (i presume) having to use the webhosting providers web-interface instead of namecheap to do anything.

edit: nm, i kept the domain with namecheap.

Just use the update nameservers option as you keep namecheap as your registrar. If you transfer to the host provider you may have to pay a fee to transfer though your domain registration does get extended.
