transfer files from one pc to antoher via wifi?

Can someone help me in doing this? I've been using my mybook to transfer big files from one to another but its not ideal. Would rather doing via wifi.

Both pc's are running windows 7 home.

Help.

set the computer names for both machines to something sensible..

ie 'desktop' and 'upstairs' instead of 'pc123125123123nsnsa' for example

right click a folder on the desktop pc, click sharing, and tick write & read access

then go to the other machine, start, run

\\desktop

press enter

now it will show the shared folder, you may have to enter login details (for the desktop pc) when connecting to its share.
