Transfer OS from SSD to M.2 SSD

I wouldn't do a manual copy and paste, but you can use cloning/imaging software.

If a fresh install isn't a hassle then it is more likely to be problem free with a new build.

If you're only installing a M.2, it might not even be worth the bother.
any free cloning programs ?

The old free version of Macrium Reflect if it's still floating about, although two of us here in the software thread did rehost it. It works perfectly and I've used it myself twice to clone over.

Although if it's a Samsung drive or other 1st party drive then they provide cloning software as part of their toolset anyway so you can just use that such as Samsung Magician.
thanks m8 my ssd is a samsung but new one is a wd
