Transfer rate data ?

this probably bit of a newb question but is there a way to actually see the transfer rate of a file when moving it to one pc to another on a win xp network ?

at the moment it just tells me "4 minutes" or what ever , i know on vista you can actually see the raw data , is there a way on xp ?

There are many network bandwidth monitoring applications available. I use DU meter. Tells you the current bandwidth being used on your local connection.
