Yes, I agree though. Discussing transfers will often result in a more in depth discussion of players, current players, managers and systems et cetra.

It's healthy debate.

Whack random rumours in the general transfer gossip thread. Start discussions about Berba's contract clause/the pros and cons for activating it/the pros and cons of keeping him, etc, in another thread.

If it's just one or two comments, whack them in a generic thread... if there's stuff worthy of a developed discussion, start a thread.

I agree with the mods.

What does it matter though if there's a few off topic posts now and again? It's absolutely inevitable in any thread of that nature.

Only carebears like Cheets seem to get upset about it from time to time, does it bother you as well? Why?
