I have a Nas drive which has 2 disks in it.
1 is a seagate barracuda 500Gb drive and the other is a Hitachi Deskstar 1Tb drive.
Currently all my data is on the seagate drive which i wish to transfer to the hitachi drive.
My intention is to eventually remove the seagate drive and replace it with another 1Tb hitachi drive giving me a 2Tb Nas Drive.
Now to my main problem i currently do not have a linux system running so i looking to do the data transfer via either windows xp/windows 7 or via dos
I know years ago i could have used norton ghost via a floppy disk, which i believe also recognised ext3 formatted file systems
what im looking for is an equivelent program today which will perform the same task which is basically a raw data transfer via dos which can be run from a USB key.
Or a way to do the same process via either version of windows which im currently running.
