Transfering domain, website transferred too?

I'm looking to transfer a domain I have away from my current hosting company. I currently have a website on that domain. If I transfer the domain, will the website html files get transferred over too? (which is what I want to happen). Thanks.

No, you'll have to do that manually

As said you have too - Just open FTP client download all then reupload to new host.

SQL databases will have to be done as well.

Mine did - and didn't charge me anything to do so.
If both your old host and new host are using the "CPANEL" interface, then there is a specific "transfer your site" option.
It takes a matter of minutes to do and it automatically moves whole sites across.

It doesn't happen automatically.
However when I last moved hosts I said that I had a reseller account with 4 different sites on, 2 with MySQL databases would they be able to help.
They asked for my logon details for my old account.
I got an e-mail 30 minutes later telling me they had transferred all of my sites over and all I had to do was point my domains at my new Name Servers - job done.
