Hi Folks,

I have recently bought a new pc and want to transfer files from my mac book (running leapord) to my pc (running vista home premium 64) over my wireless network.

However, I can't for the life of my figure out how to do it.

Can someone please let me know how to do it or point me to a website that'll explain how I can see my macs shared files on my pc and so copy them over. I am able to ping the laptop from the pc but it doesn't show up in the network window.

Thanks

Matt

PS. I haven't got any external HDDs etc that I could transfer the files with, this is my only option.

Was trying to set that up myself a month or so ago...gave up in the end and bought a cheap usb stick.

The problem is I have about 80 gigs worth of stuff, I don't really want to buy an external HDD even if they are quite cheap at the moment. It seems silly that I can't just network them, I thought it would e quite easy really. If I had 2 PCs I could do it in minutes but I can't fathom how to create shared folders on the mac so my PC can access them.

I'll check out that link above when I get home from work.

Thanks

Matt
