Transfering Files to HTC Touch Pro

I am currently transfering a movie to the memory card in the phone and it is taking ages.

I am using explorer to transfer the files. How long should it take to transfer a 700mb file? Its taken about 20-25mins to do 75%!

The PC is and I assume the phone is.

There must be something wrong as its slowed down even more and its still not done.

EDIT: Finally finished took about 1h 15m to 1h 30m to transfer 700mb file :eek:

From as far as I can tell it's currently a design-flaw when transferring files (saw in a review last night). Hopefully they'll fix the software soon

is it not stil the case when moving files like films over to a mobile device that the best way is to remove the said card, put into a card reader and place into pc, then put said card back into mobile device when done?

i know with ipaqs, it can cause a few hassles other wise with files.

Will have to try that see if that works without any problems.
