Transfering monitor profiles from Mac to PC

Hi all,

simple question really, if i calibrate my belinea monitor on my mac using SuperCal can i transfer the created profile to my Windows based PC? so that i'm using the same profile on both machines?

or am i barking up the wrong tree becuase it wont be the same on different hardware?

I don't imagine it would work, I think the colour profiles use different formats, and also Mac and Windows use different Gamma and DPI's (afaik)

I use the same .icm profile on Windows and Mac OS and they look the same. I think the gamma setting is part of the profile.

Had to use this (at startup with the /L argument) to get the profile to reliably apply on XP.

When did SidewinderINC get perma'd?

Providing you choose the same gamma setting in OS X then technically it would be possible, but then you'd have to worry about getting cross compatibility.
