Transferring a domain

Hi guys,

I'm in the process of moving a website to a different hosting company. And I've been asked to change the TAG, should the new hosting company not be doing this as part of their deal (free transfer). I had to email them to ask what was taking so long, for them to request that I change the TAG myself. Anyone have any ideas?

Usually you need to change the tags so they can take control of the domain, well that's the easiest way to do it anyway... why is that a problem?
 
Well, In case of changing the host there are nameservers which needs to be updated. Its is done by the company of which you are canceling the account. It normaly takes 24-48 hrs for the process. Once it is done then you are to go with another hosting company.
