Transferring from one 360 HDD to another

Hi all

got myself a 120gb 360HDD today for £6 and would like to transfer everything from my old 20gb drive to the larger one.

I know there is the transfer cable which I could get but I've also seen mention of using a USB stick but I'm not sure if this suitable really as I have a couple of games I'd like to keep which were downloaded when they were free and I'm not sure they're available anymore. Also I want to copy across all the profiles that are on there as my little boy has a profile ettc.

Am I best off trying to find a cheap transfer cable?

Sorry, I don't have one, I did back in the day though when these were double rare, I sold it on eBay for about £50 I think

Sorry mate, can't find it anywhere. Knew I had one and I'm pretty sure I never got rid of it.
