Transferring Game Data. Possible?

Good aternoon, people.

I've just got myself a new NVME drive which I was planning on putting my games on (faster loading of textures). My main one will be Modern Warfare. Can I just drag the folder over to the new drive or does the game need completely reinstalling and the (ridiculously large) files and updates need downloading again?

You can usually drag and drop then revalidate the files via the client.

Copy data to new location
Update location (battle net) of new game location
Game will validate files
Done

Brilliant. Cheers people, all done and working fine. Unsure if it's just a placebo effect, but the textures on the more distant objects in Warzone seem to be loading in much faster.
