Transferring Google account over to a new Android...

Hey guys,

I'm just about to pick up my Nexus S (upgrading from a lowly T-Mo Pulse!). I'm just wondering what steps I need to take to "deactivate" my Google account on the old phone? I'm probably going to make a new account for my mum and give her the old Pulse - should I do a full reset before this, or is it not necessary? Ideally don't want to lose all the apps etc!

You don't have to do anything special really, just sign in on the new phone and the wipe your old one

Ok thanks Tom - walked all the way to the local CPWH (said it was open today on their website) and guess what - closed!! Pretty pee'd off right now
