I'm getting more into using my laptop with Premiere Pro and After Effects on Vista Home Prem. for editing video files than using the universities mac's with Final Cut, however there is the problem of transferring files from a Mac (as I would use this to capture the footage) to my laptop.
I was thinking is there any way that an external hard drive can be configured so that I can transfer files from one to the other? As I understand it the reason that it's difficult is because of the format of the hard drive, are macs and PC's completely unreadable from one to the other or is it a file size limitation? As with FAT32/NTFS etc.
I don't mind using smaller file sizes by splitting up the video files to say 1GB. Does anybody have any ideas?
