I have just been on holiday and I took my macbook to do some editing and backup of my photos whilst I was away. Now I'm back I wanted to transfer all my photos and the tweaks from the holiday (stored in one project) to my desktop mac.
Now I thought the easiest way would be to export the project as a library on my macbook, copy that to my desktop and then import and continue editing them.
Well, its not quite that simple as once I import them it is refusing to let me do any adjustments to these photos saying I need to reprocess them (even though I'm using exactly the same version of Aperture and its all upto date according to Software update) Now when I come to try the reprocess is says the masters aren't available(!) Well thats strange as I've check the library that it's come from and the masters are there - albeit that this project is now a separate library file in the pictures directory.
Now I've tried deleting and reimporting but that has done nothing, what am I missing as its sooo frustrating in what should be a simple task really.....
