Transferring ps2 saved game to ps3

Hi
hoping if some one can help, seems a daft question, i have been downloading saved game from GameFAQS. I want to finish of the game i never finish playing mgs3 pop3 and other few. i been trying using my flash drive and using my sony memory stick. tried google too no help.

First of all make sure the files end PSV, there is quite a lot of max save files about but these wont work until they are uncompressed using Maxxdrive software and a PS2. If they are PSV files the file structure has to be this :\PS3\EXPORT\PSV , hope that helps
